At Salemi's Ace Hardware we offer a wide variety of in-store services including key cutting & duplication, chainsaw chain sharpening, and cutting panels of materials such as glass or polycarbonate to your desired dimensions. On this page you will find a breakdown of our services as well as the cost, if applicable. Note that some services start at a specific price and may increase from that baseline depending on what you need.

The information on this page covers all of our stores, however not all stores are able to provide every service. Services We Offer

Whether you need a replacement key for a house, car, motorcycle, RV, padlock, or anything else that accepts a key we can have one made for you in a matter of minutes. We offer key blanks in various styles and shapes, with and without plastic heads, as well as programmable automotive keyfobs and chip keys. (Please note that we cannot make copies of post office or government keys.)
The prices below represent a basic key blank with included cutting service. We also offer colorful keys with fun designs on them such as cartoons, sports teams, colleges, and hunting camo. The prices of these blanks are slightly more than a plain one and vary based on the vendor, however the cutting service itself is always free with the purchase of any blank.
For automotive keyfobs and chip keys we offer complimentary cutting and programming of the key in-store. Please call to inquire regarding the make/model of your vehicle so we can determine if we have a compatible keyfob in stock.

| Texas Hunting & Fishing Licenses |

In the state of Texas you are required by law to obtain a license if you want to engage in hunting or fishing. Salemi's Ace Hardware is an authorized dealer of game licenses certified by the Texas Parks & Wildlife governmental body. We offer several different license tiers with different prices and options for youth, adults, and seniors as well as non-residents who are visiting Texas for the purposes of hunting or fishing.
The "Super Combo" package is a bundle that includes the following licenses and endorsements: hunting license, fishing license (all water), archery endorsement, migratory bird endorsement, upland bird endorsement, red drum endorsement, and spotted seatrout endorsement. The Super Combo offers a total savings of $18 over purchasing each license and endorsement separately.

| Blade & Knife Sharpening |

Has your favorite kitchen, fishing, or hunting knife gone dull? Bring it in to Salemi's Ace Hardware and in a matter of minutes we'll have it cutting like it was brand new again thanks to our state-of-the-art Resharp machine -- proudly assembled in the USA. With the assistance of one of our helpful hardware folks you'll set the blade in the Resharp and watch it go to work; the machine uses digital technology to map out the shape of each blade and optimize the automatic sharpening process.
The Resharp works on all double-beveled steel and stainless steel knives whether they are straight, curved, or have divets. It even works on blades that have cutaways as long as the blade edge itself is one uniform piece. It is, however, unable to sharpen knives with serrated or scalloped edges. The machine is able to service blades 2.5-12" long with a blade height of 0.5-3.5".

If the chain on your chainsaw or polesaw isn't getting the bite it once did bring it to us and we'll get it shredding like it used to. Our chain sharpening machine is able to fit most standard sized chainsaw and polesaw chains between 12-36". It is a universal sharpener that fits all major brands of chain (Stihl, Oregon Tool, Craftsman, etc) so no matter what kind of tool you have we can get you up and running again.
Please note that for safety reasons we cannot use the sharpening machine on any chains that have damage from rust or physical damage to the chain itself including its teeth, links, and/or joining pins. If we are unable to sharpen your chain for this reason we may be able to offer you a new replacement chain instead.

Got a paint job ahead of you? Whether you are painting just a room or a whole house Salemi's Ace Hardware has everything you need to get the job done. We offer a complimentary color matching service for all of the paint we carry; simply bring a sample or old color swatch with you to our store and our MetaVue spectrometer will find the closest possible match and the correct formula to recreate it.
We offer paint from several major brands including Benjamin Moore, Clark + Kensington, Royal, and Magnolia Home. We are also able to mix paint in a variety of sheens such as flat, flat enamel, eggsheel, low lustre, satin, semi-gloss, and high gloss.
The prices shown below are the base for each size of paint. Options such as brand, finish, and specialty will have an effect on the final price of the paint.

If you're replacing a window in a house or hunting blind or need a piece of plywood that will fit over a broken window in the meantime we offer a complimentary cutting service for most of the raw materials we sell. This includes sheets of glass, acrylic, polycarbonate, and plywood. Simply buy a sheet of any material in a size that meets your needs and let us know the dimensions, one of our helpful hardware folks will handle the rest.
If you need just a little piece of material we have scraps available for purchase per square foot. Size, shape, and thickness availability may vary for scrap material.

If you've purchased something large such as a new grill, patio furniture, or mower and need it delivered to your home we are able to get your order to your door in a timely manner. Simply let us know a date and approximate time that works best for you and a delivery will be scheduled. Most purchases with destinations inside the same county as the store are delivered free of charge. For deliveries outside of the county the delivery fee will vary based on factors including distance and the total price of the item(s) intended for delivery.
