Salemi's Ace Rental Place offers a wide variety of equipment for rent on an hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly basis to help you get the job done right.
All rentals start at a minimum period of four hours. A deposit fee is also required when picking up a rental, equal to the cost of a one day rental. This deposit will be refunded to you when you bring the equipment back to us on time, clean, and in working order. There are no exceptions to the deposit policy.
Rental rates are subject to change. We cannot process rental requests through our website, all rental orders and requests must be done in person at one of our locations. Additionally, because a reservation requires upfront payment we cannot reserve rentals over the phone. Specific equipment may not be available at all of our locations. The Ground Hog ModelONE is a small, hand-held, 1-man auger that is designed for a great end-user experience. It is rugged and reliable and is powered by a Honda GX35 4-stroke engine contained in a powder coated steel frame. The engine speed and torque, transmission gear ratio, as well as the angle of the auger blades and the pitch of the flites, work together to provide maximum digging power while minimizing strain on the operator. With the ModelONE you get plenty of power and control with less fatigue. The heat treated billet steel gears, reinforced cast aluminum gear case, and heavy-duty transmission with oversized bearings add up to one of the most powerful post hole diggers on the market today. Trigger-type return-style throttle.
We offer bits for this drill in sizes of 2", 4", 6", and 8". Rental of this unit comes with one bit at no additional charge. Additional bits after the first are a $10 flat fee for the duration of your rental.

| Ground Hog HD99 Hydraulic Earth Drill |

The Ground Hog HD99 is a towable hydraulic earth drill designed to be powerful, easy to use and require very little maintenance. With its 9 HP Honda engine the HD99 can easily dig with any Ground Hog auger up to 18" in diameter. The hydraulic system allows the HD99 to have variable auger speed and reverse which is very useful if the auger gets stuck. Perfectly balanced with an 8" auger attached and the right-angle design eliminates torque to the operator. There are also three handlebar positions that allow for normal drilling as well as close up drilling next to an obstacle such as a wall or fence. The drilling head also pivots from side to side for drilling on uneven terrain. A locking mechanism on the digging head allows the auger to be held up and out of the way for moving the machine around the job without having to disconnect the auger. The low profile and compact design of the frame eliminates the need for telescoping booms and axles and allows the unit to be transported in the bed of a small truck.

With five handlebar position adjustments available, the operator is sure to find a comfortable working position to maintain complete control of the machine while grinding.
A towing package is required to transport this equipment. If you do not have one we offer a compatible tow bar for a flat fee of $35 added to the price of your rental.

This chipper comes with a 54" chute that features an adjustable angle deflector on the discharge chute allowing material to be blown into the back of truck or trash trailer. | Ground Hog T-4 Trencher |

The Ground Hog T-4 trencher is an operator propelled chain-type tool designed for jobs requiring a 12"-18" deep trench. Heavy gauge powder coated steel is used throughout the T-4's construction as well as tapered roller bearings and double-row ball bearings to ensure trouble-free service. The T-4’s narrow and compact design allows easy access around the job site and it easily fits through gates and doorways. The simplified operator controls help make the machine less intimidating to operators unfamiliar with using outdoor power equipment. The Ground Hog T-4 uses a unique ratchet mechanism on the wheels to help prevent the machine from pulling away from the trenching direction. This greatly aids the operator while trenching and allows the trencher to do the digging while the side delivery auger piles the dirt up neatly beside the trench. When the depth control handle is moved to one of the three digging positions the wheel ratchets engage allowing the wheels to only roll in the trenching direction.
A vehicle-mounted carrier is required to transport this equipment. We offer rentals of this carrier at the rates noted in parentheses beside the trencher's.
