The Porta-Pad II Launch Pad comes complete with blast deflector, standoff stem, two-piece 1/8" launch rod and launch rod cap. Launch direction may be adjusted 30 degrees from vertical. Minor assembly required, no glue or tools are needed. The included Electron Beam Launch Controller comes fully assembled with 17' (5.2 m) of cable and requires 4 new 1.5V AA alkaline batteries (sold separately). Launches all mini, standard (A-C), and D powered rockets.
The Estes C6-3 engine is a single stage engine designed for model rocket flight. This engine is a standard engine designed for flights in rockets weighing less than 4 ounces, including the engine. Each package includes 3 engines, 4 starters and 4 plugs.
Flame-resistant recovery wadding protects the recovery system and is necessary to launch model rockets. Recovery wadding is installed in between the motor and the parachute and is designed to prevent damage to the parachute. Plastic parachutes can singe or melt when exposed directly to the ejection charge from the motor, but recovery wadding is designed to take the brunt of that ejection. Contains 75 sheets, enough for about 18-25 flights.
